The use of Pre and Probiotics has exploded globally over the last 5 years with a global expenditure in excess of $ 87 Billion dollars annually. The number of available products has confounded the medical benefits as the international standards of WHO are very broad, with an anticipated growth of 15% internationally.

To unmask the benefits and uses of probiotics we have created a decision tree analysis based on published literature to educate 3 potential user groups : A, General Public , B, Health Care Providers and C, Research/Investigators. International Literature is graded as to Quality and Type.

Search parameters are divided into 5 areas including : probiotic, microbes, diseases/conditions, abstracts and publication as well as Quality (Strength of Evidence) and Type of Study or publication. It will be expandable and grow with the number of new and meaningful publications in outstanding journals , web sites and other electronic resources.

Our first Poster describing the review of 310 probiotic manuscripts and creation of a library was presented at meetings in 2014 and 2015: " BRINGING TO LIFE THE GERM THEORY: AN EDUCATIONAL DECISION TREE EMPLOYING THERAPEUTIC BACTERIA (PROBIOTICS) (PART I)". Our Phase II will highlight a Fecal Microbiota Transplant  (FMT) or Fecal Transplant Section as part of  our Decision Tree,  recognizing the growth in this potential Maxi-Transplant using natural  GUT probiotics . This unmasks the influence of the emerging "Bottom Up" Concept, or the Brain -GUT Axial communication Link.
